Erin Jones
Erin Jones is the Assistant Principal at Sunrise Middle School in Kearney, Nebraska, where she’s entering her fourth year in administration and brings over 13 years of experience in education. Known for her practical, people-first approach, Erin is passionate about using data to make meaningful changes, supporting students with consistency and care, and building strong, positive school culture especially during times of transition. She has a talent for spotting what’s not working and helping her team shift things in a way that feels doable, supportive, and lasting.
Erin believes that every staff member and student deserves someone in their corner, and if they don’t have that person yet she’s ready to be it. Her leadership is rooted in being visible, accessible, and real, always showing up with equal parts accountability and heart. Outside of school, Erin loves golfing, spending lake days on the pontoon with her family, and soaking up time with her husband and their two boys.
