Tim Heckenlively
Tim Heckenlively is an educational leader and public policy advocate with more than 30 years of service to Nebraska schools. He currently serves as a Legislative Lobbyist for the Nebraska Council of School Administrators (NCSA), representing school leaders and advancing public education at the state level. Prior to joining NCSA, he spent 15 years in Falls City Public Schools—serving as Superintendent from 2010–2025 after roles as Principal, Director of Special Education, and Director of Federal Programs. His career began as a teacher and coach in McCook, Nebraska.
Heckenlively is a doctoral candidate at Doane University and holds an Education Specialist Degree in School Superintendency from UNK, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Chadron State, and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health. He also earned a K–12 Learning Disabilities Endorsement from Northwest Missouri State University.
