Erika Bare and Tiffany Burns
Erika Bare and Tiffany Burns are educational leaders, authors, and co-founders of Connecting Through Conversations. Erika serves as Superintendent of the South Umpqua School District and has over 20 years of experience supporting students and educators across multiple leadership roles. Tiffany is an instructional leadership coach, university instructor, and former principal with more than 20 years in education.
Together, they are the authors of Connecting Through Conversation: A Playbook for Talking with Students and The School Leader's Playbook for Tough Conversations. Their work focuses on helping educators strengthen communication, build meaningful relationships, and create school cultures where every student feels valued, connected, and ready to learn.
